This image is how I imagine an industrial designer might have drawn up the concept design for the new Model 12 mixer for 1957. It featured a new stylish shape and came in a modern variety of colors to match the most up-to-date kitchens around. A real 12-speed beauty that every homemaker would be proud to own! Mid-century style is most obvious in the realms of architecture, automotive design, fashion and furniture, but every conceivable domestic item from staplers to hair dryers was subject to the industrial design influences of the day. Great print for a kitchen!
